like okay someone is not trash for liking something. the only thing that liking a thing makes somebody is a fan of that thing.

nobody deserves to be put down for what they like, especially since, for a lot of people, their fandom is their escape from the shitstorm of the real world. being part of a hated fandom is like a soldier coming home from a tour of duty to find a civil war on his own soil

there would be no respite, and the entire concept of a place to relieve stress and enjoy yourself would go down the drain
